Take the Easyway to be free
Allen Carr was a chain smoker who used to smoke 100 cigarettes a day until, after many failed attempts, he managed to quit in 1983. It was during this period that he developed his uniquely successful method. He realised that he had discovered what all smokers dream of; an easy way to get free!
The 6-hour seminar that he developed was first launched in his home in London, England, and now it is available in cities across the UK, and in over 50 countries worldwide, from the USA to Ukraine, from Austria to Australia and from Mexico to Mauritius. The worldwide Head Office remains in London, England.
The beauty of Allen Carr’s Easyway method is that it can be applied to any addiction or issue and Allen Carr and his team undertake to apply the method to as many other problems as possible; issues such as sugar, alcohol, weight, drugs, gambling, debt and fear of flying.
The method as applied to smoking and all nicotine addiction is so successful that we have been able to provide our money-back guarantee to those who attend our seminars for more than 30 years.
It is estimated that over 30 million people have successfully quit smoking with the method.
How successful is Allen Carr’s Easyway method?
The success rate after an Allen Carr’s Easyway to Quit Smoking and Vaping Seminar based on the three-month money-back guarantee is over 90 per cent.
Independent scientific studies published in peer review journals indicate that even after 12 months the success rate remains over 51% and 53% after 3 years per Addictive Behaviours in October 2006 and Long-term success of short smoking-cessation seminars supported by occupational health care’, H. Moshammer, M. Neuberger. Addictive Behaviors (2007) Success Rate 51.4% after 3 years and ‘Smoking cessation at the workplace: 1 year success of short seminars,’ H.P Hutter, H. Moshammer, M.Neuberger. Internal Archives of Occupational Environmental Health (2005) 40% (worse case) 55% (best estimate). We are currently undertaking further clinical trials to confirm the success rate of Allen Carr’s Easyway method.
Will non-smoker employees be upset that they are not getting anything?
This has never been an issue in the 30 years that we have been operating. In fact we’ve always found that both non-smokers and smokers are positive about this approach to the issue. One of the many benefits of running this program is increased harmony within the workforce when the problem of smoking is removed.
Will running a seminar appear controlling or “nannying”
No – smokers and non-smokers generally appreciate activities that focus on their health and wellbeing. From raising awareness of the seminars to evaluating the program we do not place pressure on smokers. It is entirely up to smokers whether they want to participate in the program. Our strength is asking key questions that encourage smokers to consider the possibility of life without cigarettes.
We are very sensitive to the psychology of smokers and we understand their predicament. For this reason we do not focus on the negatives of smoking (smokers are well aware of these anyway). Our approach is intelligent and respectful. In all our communications we aim to challenge and support smokers not belittle or isolate them.
What if this program doesn’t work?
You are giving your employees the very best solution available on the market. Most people require just one seminar but back-up seminars are available free of charge for the few that require them. If a smoker attends the program in accordance with the terms of the money-back guarantee and fails to quit smoking the fee is refunded in full.
I don’t want to run a seminar at the workplace / We have a lot of home workers who wouldn’t be able to make it to a workplace seminar.
That’s ok – we have 45+ public centers in the UK for you and your workforce to choose from.
